And insight. I didn't really think that this post would go this far, and I honestly thought it would have got deleted once the 1st mod/admin logged on. This being said I do agree with the constructive critism remark. But the backbone of constructive critism is a explanation of why you think its bad, and what you would do to rectify it. By and far the most attractive aspect of this site is the Tech forum combinded with a massive amount of data in FAQ and Search availability. Those make this site what it is. What I was trying to bring to light was that some of the guys I remembered from back when I use to be active are not here anymore. And I think that sometimes the overall message given by some members could be rather harsh for what it could have been. In regards to "thick skin". Well if anyone goes through life solely (sp?) doing anything to be accepted and liked by thier peers, then they are in for a very unfortunate life. My main point, if there was one, was that I feel as if some people here mostly post to bash others and not offer anything to help the other out. Obviously we all live in the "real world" and it can be a harsh place. But I think that since we all choose to log in to TT.Net then we could all choose to be a bit more friendly.
This post wasn't directed at any one or multiple individuals, if so I would have named them. This was merly a message to the masses of what I feel could help build a more welcoming site to those that could use the abundant knowledge of this site as a whole. Also humor is hard to tell without the facial expressoins and vocal tones to portray it as humor. I joke around alot with my friends to, but I think sometimes people use "humor" as a cheap cop out to overall bashing.
